Pahlish All Holo’s Eve and Holo-ween Remix

Hello, again! It’s my favorite time of the year- Holo-ween! I look forward to Shannon’s Halloween polishes all year and I’m thrilled to share them with you today. There are 9 polishes all together and they are broken up into 2 mini collections. The first is called Happy Holo-ween Remix and Pahlish has revamped 3 of their original Holo-ween favorites from 2014. Then we have 6 polishes in the All Holo’s Eve collection. These polishes will launch here on 9/23 at 7pm central. They will be available as a preorder from 9/23-9/25 and will then be restocked every Sunday until 10/31. These polishes are LE (limited edition) so they will NOT be listed on the site after Halloween and will not be included in the Black Friday sale so if any of these beauties tickle your fancy, be sure to buy them before that day. Shannon also has some special mystery polishes up her sleeve and I’ll include more info about that at the end of this post. Let’s see these new spooky beauties, ok? Ok!

                                                     Happy Holo-ween Remix

Happy Holo-ween Remix is up first. These polishes will be $12 each or $33 for the trio. Spectral Taffy 2.0 is a lovely bright blue polish with a mix of holo flakes and pigments and bright blue micro flakes, iridescent green to teal flakes and a teal shimmer. The original Spectral Taffy is a light blue linear holo with a mix of blue and turquoise micro flakes. I own the original version and as soon as I applied 2.0, I recognized those gorgeous blue micro flakes that I love! The formula was amazing as is the norm with all Pahlish polishes. There was no pooling just smooth as butter application. I used 3 coats to achieve opacity for this swatch as well as a quick drying top coat to add shine. The micro flakes made it feel a little textured prior to top coat but after top coat, there was no texture at all. Removal of this polish was easy as well and did not require scrubbing at all.

Pop Rock Panic 2.0 is up next and is a stunning soft violet polish with a mix of holo flakes and pigments with neon purple micro flakes, iridescent purple flakes and violet shimmer. The original version of Pop Rock is a purple linear holo with purple flakes. Just like Spectral Taffy, I also own the original Pop Rock and noticed the same purple micro flakes in the 2.0 version. It’s fun to see the similarities between the original and the updated versions. The addition of holo and iridescent flakes make these polishes amazing! I used 3 coats for full opacity and a quick drying top coat for this swatch. Formula and removal were both so easy. I can’t stress enough how wonderful the formula is with these polishes.

Trick or Mint 2.0 is the third remix polish and is a soft mint with a mix of holo flakes and pigments, green to gold micro flakes, green to gold iridescent flakes and a golden shimmer. Sadly, I don’t own the original version of Trick or Mint and I’m kicking myself for that now. The original Trick or Mint is a mint green linear holo with gold to green micro flakes. I was able to achieve opacity in 2 coats with Trick or Mint 2.0 and as always, I used a quick drying top coat. Formula and removal were very easy.

                                                                All Holo's Eve

The All Holo’s Eve collection is next. These polishes will be $12 each or $66 for the whole set of 6 polishes. Buttercream Bats is a beautiful black jelly with a mix of holo pigments and flakes, a pink to copper to green shifting shimmer and multicolored iridescent shifting flakes. I absolutely love black jellies! Especially the ones that Pahlish makes, so I have quite a few in my collection and I was happy to add this to it. Buttercream Bats was opaque for me in 3 thin coats and I also used a quick drying top coat. I couldn’t resist adding some stamping to each of these polishes and as usual, I seem to draw inspiration from the names of the polishes. It’s no surprise that I stamped some bats over this polish using Lina Nail Art Supplies Spookalicious 01 plate.

Peaches and Scream is a beautiful, bright peachy orange with a mix of holo pigments and flakes, pink to copper shifting pigments and iridescent orange to copper shifting flakes. I love colors like this and the flakes in this polish are so pretty. My swatch shows 3 thin coats plus a quick dry top coat. I added some jack o’lantern stamping using Uber Chic Beauty Halloween 02 and Lina Nail Art Supplies Spookalicious 01.

Sour Apple Snakes is an amazing, bright lime green polish with a mix of holo pigments and flakes, iridescent orange to green shifting glitters and pink to copper to green shifting pigments. I absolutely love greens like this one! I used 3 thin coats and a quick drying top coat for this swatch and added some apple stamping using Whatsupnails plate B008 and Uber Chic Beauty School is Cool plate.

Mochi Monster is a wonderful, dusky blue with a mix of holo pigments and flakes and a smoky rose to copper to green shifting multichrome shimmer. I love blues almost as much as I do purples and this one is so beautiful. I used 3 thin coats and a quick drying top coat. I added some reverse stamped Kawaii mochis over this using Maniology (formerly Bundle Monster) plate, BM-XL 219.

Candy Confetti is a wonderful, bright purple jelly with a mix of holo pigments and flakes, multicolored iridescent shifting flakes and a soft green to gold to violet multichrome shimmer. I have a soft spot in my heart for all of Pahlish’s purples so I love this. I used 3 thin coats and a quick drying top coat for this. I also decided to reverse stamp some candy images using Lina Nail Art Supplies Spookalicious 02.

Lychee Lizards is a stunning, deep apple red with a mix of holo pigments and flakes and a green to copper to violet shifting multichrome shimmer. This one is my favorite from this collection! It’s so ridiculously pretty and that shimmer is to die for! I used 2 coats and a quick dry top coat for this mani. I also stamped some lizards onto my nails using MoYou London Tourist Collection 17.

That wraps up another amazing Holo-ween collection from Pahlish! But that’s not all that Shannon is offering us this month. Pahlish will be releasing a new Boo-Spoke mystery polish every Sunday starting on 9/30. These polishes won’t be revealed until after the launch on each Sunday so stay tuned for those. These Boos were illustrated by none other than Mr. Pahlish! More details to come about Boo-Spoke mysteries! Which of these 9 new beauties will be going home with you? Let me know in the comments. P*O*P Polish Pastel Oil Slick 360 collection

Hello, multichrome lovers! Are you ready to see something new, exciting and gorgeous?? Because I have 8 new multichromes from P*O*P Polish to share with you guys today! I was very excited when Bianca asked me to swatch her new polishes and even more excited to find out that we both live in the same city. So not only did I find a new to me indie brand, I found a new, local indie brand which is super exciting to me. These multichromes are new because they are pastel! We’re used to the darker toned multichromes where the normal shifts are blues, greens, purples, golds but these new pastel multichromes have a shift added. Nude and grey shifts can be seen in these in certain lighting. They were hard to capture but they’re there. These polishes were so intriguing to swatch. I was staring at my fingers constantly when I wore them. The Pastel Oil Slicks will be available to purchase on August 10th at 3pm EST here:  https://www.etsy.com/sho
