For first time readers, let’s talk about what Polish Pickup is first.  Polish Pickup is an interactive group on Facebook (I will include the link to the group at the end of this post) that allows you to submit theme ideas for each month and vote for your favorite theme. After the theme is picked, you may then select your favorite polishes to purchase from a multitude of different makers. It’s a fabulous concept and very popular! The  shop  opens the first Friday of every month and closes the following Monday. This month, the shop opens on 8/2 at 11 am EST and closes on 8/5 at 11:59pm EST. Hello, lovelies! I have a gorgeous new collection from Quixotic Polish to share with you today. The Island Flakies collection consists of 3 flakie filled polishes and a topper. This collection will be released on 7/8 at 10 am PST and will be $40 for all 4 polishes. I will list the individual prices along with the descriptions. Let’s dive into swatches, shall we? Tiki Torches is a soft neon orange crelly filled with gold to pink to green shifting iridescent flakes and will be $11.50. I loooove this polish! Orange is not a color you see a lot of lately and I love it! My swatches show 3 thin coats and a quick drying top coat. Hello, again! I have another beautiful polish from Quixotic Polish to share today! This polish was created for Hella Handmade Creations (HHC) so we’ll talk about that and then get into the swatches.  Every month, HHC offers one of a kind, Limited Edition polishes from a variety of different indie nail polish brands during a week-long pre-order sale.  Each polish is created from a theme that is picked by the brand's maker!  Polishes will be available for purchase on 5/14 at 12:01 am EST through 5/21 at 12:01am EST. After the preorder is done, it takes about a month to ship any polishes ordered.  Quixotic Polish is back for the month of May with a brand new theme- graffiti art!
