Hello, lovelies! I have 3 new polishes that released today as part of Polish Pickup’s August theme, “At The Carnival”! It’s an incredibly fun theme!
For first time readers, let’s talk about what Polish Pickup is first. Polish Pickup is an interactive group on Facebook (I will include the link to the group at the end of this post) that allows you to submit theme ideas for each month and vote for your favorite theme. After the theme is picked, you may then select your favorite polishes to purchase from a multitude of different makers. It’s a fabulous concept and very popular!
The shop opens the first Friday of every month and closes the following Monday. This month, the shop opens on 8/2 at 11 am EST and closes on 8/5 at 11:59pm EST. They offer flat rate shipping to the US ($3) and Canada ($5) and orders will usually start shipping about 3 weeks after the shop has closed. Ready for swatches? Coming right up!
By Dany Vianna was inspired by the view that can be seen from the top of a Ferris wheel for this beauty called, From The Top Of The World.
This polish has an indigo crelly base, a duochrome shimmer and ultrachrome chameleon flakies. I really love this polish, it applied beautifully and the formula was wonderful! My swatches show 3 thin coats and a quick drying top coat.
This polish will be $12 and will be capped at 75 bottles.
Cupcake Polish has joined Polish Pickup and the first polish Sara has created is absolutely beautiful.
Texas Star was inspired by the Ferris wheel of the same name that can be found at the State Fair of Texas! This polish has a black jelly base and is filled with silver holographic flakes that remind Sara of the stars in the sky that can be seen on a clear Texas night and blue iridescent and multichrome flakes that remind Sara of twinkling carnival lights. The formula was amazing and applied wonderfully and easily. My swatches shows 2 coats plus a quick drying top coat.
This polish will be $13 and will not be capped.
Quixotic Polish created an amazing multichrome polish called Sunset Swinging. It’s absolutely gorgeous and perfectly created to mimic a sunset. The colors that you see when moving your nails will truly amaze you.
Sunset Swinging is a super vivid orange multichrome that shifts between red to gold to green and has a sprinkling of holo. Truly stunning! My swatches show 3 thin coats and a quick drying top coat. It applied wonderfully and the formula was so easy to work with.
This polish will be $11.50 and will not be capped.
These beauties are really stunning, aren’t they?? Head on over to Polish Pickup to see all the other wonderful offerings they have created for us this month and don’t forget to grab these when you do. Thanks for reading!
