Polish Pickup Purchases

Hello, lovelies! I have been slacking on writing blog posts lately but the holidays have taken up most of my time and energy. Today, I have swatches of my purchases from Polish Pickup to share with you. Polish Pickup is the best thing ever! Every month, a different theme is voted on and a ton of different makers take on the theme and create a gorgeous polish. It’s really the best idea ever and I’m so glad that I found them. The swatches I have to show you are from November’s theme which was Fandoms!       First up, I have Nvr Enuff I Will Find You. This gorgeous polish is based on the character, Glenn from the show The Walking Dead. As a huge fan of not only the show but the comic as well, I had to buy this beauty! This is described as a blackened raspberry base with holo and a few different types of glitters. I saw some red glitters as well as some iridescent glitters myself. I used 2 coats for this mani as well as a quick dry top coat. The formula was amazing but the real

Gridlock Lacquer

Hello, all! I have some new polishes from Gridlock Lacquer to share today. Gridlock is based in my hometown, Buffalo, NY and has made polishes based on quite a few cities. Buffalo, Cleveland and Pittsburgh. I have 2 new shades from the Buffalo collection and 3 new shades from the Cleveland collection. Let’s get started!       First, I have Born in Buffalo. This is a very pretty pale pink cream polish that was opaque in 3 coats. The formula was very easy to work with and control while applying on the nail. As a Buffalo native, I love this polish.      Next from the Buffalo collection, I have Meat Raffle. This is a bright red creme polish that was opaque in 3 easy coats. I used a quick drying top coat for this swatch and the formula was again, very easy to work with. I’m not sure if meat raffles are popular in other areas but having been to a couple myself, I can tell you that they’re very fun and great fundraisers!      Let’s take a look at the new Cleveland polishe

Pahlish J-Pop Trio and Cosmos Trio

Hello, everyone! I have 6 gorgeous polishes from my favorite indie brand, Pahlish, to share with you today. I have 2 sets of trios, the J-Pop trio and the Cosmos trio. These were both available for preorder earlier this month but will be available again starting on 11/24 at midnight. If you missed these the first time, you will not want to miss these again. Let’s get into the swatches!      First up, I have Kawaii. This polish is from the J-Pop trio which is full of multichrome shimmer and holo flakes. Holo flakes have become one of my favorite finishes since they’ve been released! I fell in love with them and have made it my mission to own every color in that finish. Kawaii is a navy polish with a red to green multichrome shimmer and holo flakes. I used 2 coats and a quick drying top coat for this mani. I couldn’t bear to put any art over this polish at all.       The second polish from the J-Pop trio is Kyary, a bright red violet polish with a rose to copper multi

Pahlish Twelve Days Of Christmas Revisited

Hello, lovelies! Today, I have the new releases from Pahlish to share with you. There’s 14 polishes total so this will be a photo heavy post. Alright, let’s get into the swatches!      I’m going to start with the first day of Christmas, of course! Partridge in a Pear Tree is a stunning taupe cream with holo flakes, red and green shimmers and multichrome flakes. I used 3 coats and a quick drying top coat for this swatch. The formula for all of these polishes was very easy to work with and I had no problems with any of them. If any of you have ever used Pahlish before, you know that her formula is on point at all times, so it was no surprise that these were the same. I have become a huge fan of neutral polishes lately so this polish stayed on my nails for a full day!        Two Turtledoves is up next. This polish is a grey cream with a blue to pink multichrome shimmer and holo flakes. The blue shimmer is really strong in this polish so it looks more blue to me but you
