Cupcake Polish Black Friday Vault Trio

Hello, lacquer lovers! I have some more pretties to share with you. Black Friday is full of sales and that extends to nail polish as well! Cupcake Polish is having a huge sale and is bringing back 3 shades that have been highly requested by customers. I’m so excited to share these with you. As always, let’s cover the info first and then get into the swatches. 

Cupcake Polish’s sale will start on 12:01 am CST on 11/21 and will last until 11:59pm CST on 11/26. Everything on the site will be 30% off using the code THANKFUL18. 






This is the second year that Cupcake has brought customer voted polishes back from the vault and since these polishes will only be available for 6 days (11/21-11/26), you will not want to miss these beauties! Sara has matched these polishes as closely as possible to the original releases and let me tell you, they’re stunning! These polishes will be $13 each and guess what? Sea Colored Glasses is a lovely soft seafoam green linear holo that was opaque in 2 glorious coats! The formula on every Cupcake I own is always amazing and applies like a dream. Sea Colored Glasses was originally a custom for Cupcake’s Facebook fan group back in 2015 and it’s just as lovely now as it was then. This color reminds me exactly of the sea glass you find on beaches. I love it! 









Double Chocolate Cupcake is a beautiful chocolate brown linear holo with a stunning pink shimmer. I don’t own many brown polishes but this one is so pretty that I was pleased to add it to my collection. This polish was originally available in the For The Love Of Polish box from May 2016. I used 2 easy coats and a quick drying top coat for my swatch.








Unrequited Love is a fabulous wine red linear holo with silver flakes. I love flakes in holos and the silver against the wine colored holo is a wonderful combo. This polish was one half of a Color 4 Nails duo that was available in 2016. I used 2 easy coats and a quick drying top coat for my swatch.

Polish Pickup September 2019

  Hello, again! I have 2 polishes from Polish Pickup to share with you today! September’s theme is Magic And Alchemy and the makers involved have created some beautiful things for us!  Let’s talk about Polish Pickup first and then we’ll get into the swatches. For first time readers, Polish Pickup is an interactive group on Facebook (I will include the link to the group at the end of this post) that allows you to submit theme ideas for each month and vote for your favorite theme. After the theme is picked, you may then select your favorite polishes to purchase from a multitude of different makers. It’s a fabulous concept and very popular! The  shop  opens the first Friday of every month and closes the following Monday. This month, the shop opens on 9/6 at 11 am EST and closes on 9/9 at 11:59pm EST. Pahlish Arcana collection

      Hello, fellow polish lovers! I have some new Pahlish to share today. Pahlish is my absolute favorite indie maker so everything she makes, I love and this new collection is no exception. The Arcana collection was inspired by Tarot cards and each one is just stunning. I have no prior knowledge of Tarot at all but I did a bit of research after receiving this collection to swatch and it’s very fascinating. These new Pahlishes will be available in her shop on Sunday, 1/14 at 7 pm central time. Shannon is also one of the guest makers in Hella Holo Customs this month and 4 custom polishes will be available for purchase. You do have to be a member of their Facebook group to buy them so go check it out if you don’t want to miss new pretties.
