Heather’s Hues August 2018 Polish Pickup

Hello, lovelies! Today, I have Heather’s Hues contribution to Polish Pickup’s August 2018 theme, Musicals, to share with you! “What is Polish Pickup?”, you may ask. Let me tell you! Polish Pickup is an interactive group on Facebook (I will include the link to the group at the end of this post) that allows you to submit theme ideas for each month and vote for your favorite theme. After the theme is picked, you may then select your favorite polishes to purchase here: https://www.polishpickup.com/ They offer flat rate shipping to the US ($3) and Canada ($5) and orders will usually start shipping about 3 weeks after the shop has closed. This month’s polishes will be available to purchase on August 3rd at 11 am EST through August 6th, 11:59 pm EST. Let’s get into the swatches now!

Heather from Heather’s Hues was inspired by the movie, Footloose, for her polish called Lose Your Blues. This polish has a dark blurple base with a heavy iridescent blue shimmer that shifts to violet and pink as well as iridescent flakes that shift from pink to purple to blue. I used 2 coats for this mani and the formula was very easy to work with. I had no issues with application or removal. I also used Cuticula’s Fresh Apples Static base coat and Timeless top coat for this mani.

I absolutely adore blurple polishes and this polish was no exception! I may have been humming the song, Footloose, to myself while I was using this. 😂 Head on over to the Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/186523148498801/

Pahlish Arcana collection

Hello, fellow polish lovers! I have some new Pahlish to share today. Pahlish is my absolute favorite indie maker so everything she makes, I love and this new collection is no exception. The Arcana collection was inspired by Tarot cards and each one is just stunning. I have no prior knowledge of Tarot at all but I did a bit of research after receiving this collection to swatch and it’s very fascinating.
