Pahlish

Hello, lovelies! I have some Pahlish to share with you today. I’ve been using these over the past month or so and have gotten a bit behind on posting  so some of these may not be available for purchase anymore but you could find them in a destash if you get lucky. Alright onto the pics!
First, I have The Land of Tears. This polish was created for Polish Pickup’s theme for March- Books. Pahlish chose The Little Prince as her inspiration and it is stunning. The Land of Tears is a bright violet jelly polish with holo pigment and flakes and a bright olive green to blue multichrome shimmer. I used 2 coats plus top coat for this mani. Isn’t it gorgeous?!

Good Omens is next and this one was released in March 2017. This polish is a periwinkle base with holo flakes and a pink to copper multichrome shimmer. I used 2 coats plus top coat for this mani and I was in love!

Twisting Nether was another Polish Pickup contribution. The theme for April was Across the Universe and Shannon chose to draw her inspiration from the game, World of Warcraft for this polish. Twisting Nether is a bright blue jelly polish with a mix of holo flakes, red to green aurora pigment and mixed ultrachrome chameleon flakes. I used 3 thin coats plus top coat for this mani.

Now, I have the most recent Polish Pickup Pahlish (try saying that 5 times fast 😂), Mother of Invention. May’s theme was the 90’s and Shannon chose the Street Wear collection as her inspiration since it started the love of polish for many people! This is a cool toned plum polish with a bright copper to violet multichrome shimmer and holo flakes. I used 2 coats plus my favorite top coat from Cuticula for this mani.

Last, I have an oldie but a goodie. L’or Blanc was a Llarowe exclusive from 2014. This polish has an off white creme base with copper microflakes. I used 2 easy coats for this mani and even though the polish is 4 years old, it was perfect! I also used Cuticula’s Static base coat in Pink Sugared Lemons and Sweet Peaches Timeless top coat.

Pahlish creates some of the prettiest polishes around and I just can’t help but buy them all. Thanks for reading!

Polish Pickup September 2019

Hello, again! I have 2 polishes from Polish Pickup to share with you today! September’s theme is Magic And Alchemy and the makers involved have created some beautiful things for us!  Let’s talk about Polish Pickup first and then we’ll get into the swatches. For first time readers, Polish Pickup is an interactive group on Facebook (I will include the link to the group at the end of this post) that allows you to submit theme ideas for each month and vote for your favorite theme. After the theme is picked, you may then select your favorite polishes to purchase from a multitude of different makers. It’s a fabulous concept and very popular! The  shop  opens the first Friday of every month and closes the following Monday. This month, the shop opens on 9/6 at 11 am EST and closes on 9/9 at 11:59pm EST. They offer flat rate shipping to the US ($3) and Canada ($5) and orders will usually start shipping about 3 weeks after the shop has closed. Ready for swatches? Coming right up!  By Dany Vian

Pahlish Arcana collection

Hello, fellow polish lovers! I have some new Pahlish to share today. Pahlish is my absolute favorite indie maker so everything she makes, I love and this new collection is no exception. The Arcana collection was inspired by Tarot cards and each one is just stunning. I have no prior knowledge of Tarot at all but I did a bit of research after receiving this collection to swatch and it’s very fascinating. These new Pahlishes will be available in her shop on Sunday, 1/14 at 7 pm central time. Shannon is also one of the guest makers in Hella Holo Customs this month and 4 custom polishes will be available for purchase. You do have to be a member of their Facebook group to buy them so go check it out if you don’t want to miss new pretties. Ok, let’s get to the good stuff- swatches!      First up, I have the King of Cups. This polish is a medium taupe with a mix of holo flakes and pigment and bright purple shifting shimmers. The holo flakes and pigments are something you will see rep
