Pahlish May 2019 Releases

Hello, lovelies! I have some new beauties from Pahlish to share with you today and they are perfect for spring and summer. I love them so much!

The new May releases will be available as a preorder starting on Sunday, 5/12 at 7pm central through 11:59 pm on 5/14 and will be regularly be restocked on Sundays.

The Tropical Collection has 5 polishes and they will be $11 each or will be $50 for the set.

Honeydew is a lime green cream polish with crushed gold flakes. It’s a beautiful polish and my swatch shows 3 coats and a quick drying top coat. This applied wonderfully and smoothly.

Fiji is an aqua cream polish with crushed gold flakes. It’s so pretty! I love the blue and gold combo, it’s wonderful. My swatches show 3 thin coats and a quick drying top coat.

Strawberry Guava is a neon bubblegum pink polish with crushed gold flakes. For my swatches, I used 3 coats and a quick drying top coat. This pink is stunning!

Poppy Hill is an absolutely gorgeous poppy red cream with crushed gold flakes. I really love this polish the most. I wore it for days and didn’t want to remove it. It’s so beautiful!! This polish was opaque in 2 easy coats and I topped it with a quick drying top coat.

Bermuda is a violet cream with crushed gold flakes. It’s so beautiful, I love this color and finish. I’m so glad that Shannon continues to create polishes in this finish because I need them all.  For my swatches, I used 3 coats and a quick drying top coat.

The Violet Duo will be $12 each or $22 for the duo. I really, really, really love these polishes. They’re both so beautiful!

Sky Glass is a neon violet jelly with dense blue to purple to pink to gold iridescent flakes. This polish did pull more blue under my lights as violet colors tend to do for me but I assure you, it is more purple in real life than my pictures show. This is another polish that I could take off so I wore it for days. The flakes in the violet jelly base make for an absolutely stunning polish. I do wish that I had thought to add a matte top coat to it but as they say, hindsight is 20/20. My swatches show 3 thin coats and a quick drying top coat.

Space Dust is a violet jelly with a shimmering lime to rose multichrome shift and holographic sparks. This polish is stunning!!! I love it so much! I wore this one for a few days as well, the shift is just amaze balls. My swatches show 2 coats and a quick drying top coat.

Every year, Shannon makes a special polish for her cute bunny, Magnolia to commemorate her birthday. Since Magnolia turns 3 this year, we have the beautiful Cotton Tail! This polish will be $12 and will be LE and be available for the months of May and June with $2 per bottle going to the Nashville Bunny Rescue.

Cotton Tail is a periwinkle cream with a mix of ultrachrome and iridescent flakes that shift from dark blue to pink and to gold. My swatches show 3 thin coats and a quick drying top coat. This polish is sooooo beautiful, I love it.

That’s it for the May releases! I hope you plan on picking all of some of these beauties up on Sunday or throughout the month of May. Thank you for reading!

Polish Pickup September 2019

Hello, again! I have 2 polishes from Polish Pickup to share with you today! September’s theme is Magic And Alchemy and the makers involved have created some beautiful things for us!  Let’s talk about Polish Pickup first and then we’ll get into the swatches. For first time readers, Polish Pickup is an interactive group on Facebook (I will include the link to the group at the end of this post) that allows you to submit theme ideas for each month and vote for your favorite theme. After the theme is picked, you may then select your favorite polishes to purchase from a multitude of different makers. It’s a fabulous concept and very popular! The  shop  opens the first Friday of every month and closes the following Monday. This month, the shop opens on 9/6 at 11 am EST and closes on 9/9 at 11:59pm EST. They offer flat rate shipping to the US ($3) and Canada ($5) and orders will usually start shipping about 3 weeks after the shop has closed. Ready for swatches? Coming right up!  By Dany Vian

Pahlish Arcana collection

Hello, fellow polish lovers! I have some new Pahlish to share today. Pahlish is my absolute favorite indie maker so everything she makes, I love and this new collection is no exception. The Arcana collection was inspired by Tarot cards and each one is just stunning. I have no prior knowledge of Tarot at all but I did a bit of research after receiving this collection to swatch and it’s very fascinating. These new Pahlishes will be available in her shop on Sunday, 1/14 at 7 pm central time. Shannon is also one of the guest makers in Hella Holo Customs this month and 4 custom polishes will be available for purchase. You do have to be a member of their Facebook group to buy them so go check it out if you don’t want to miss new pretties. Ok, let’s get to the good stuff- swatches!      First up, I have the King of Cups. This polish is a medium taupe with a mix of holo flakes and pigment and bright purple shifting shimmers. The holo flakes and pigments are something you will see rep
