Pahlish River Bride Collection

Hello, lacquer lovers! I have a brand new collection from Pahlish to share with you guys today and let me tell you, you’ll need them all! No need to read any further, just go buy them, ok? What’s that? You want to see swatches anyway? Alright, alright, here they are, you distrustful readers, you. 😂

This collection was inspired by The Decemberists song, Rusalka, Rusalka/Wild Rushes and will launch on 1/13 at 7pm central. All shades will be $11 each.

Rusalka, Rusalka is a soft navy cream with crushed gold flakes. I love blue and gold together so this polish is stunning! I’m really in love with the crushed gold flakes that Shannon has been using in her polishes! This polish was opaque for me in 2 easy coats. The formula was perfect as is the norm with Pahlish. Removal of the polish was easy as well. The gold flakes did not require any extra scrubbing at all.

Wild Rushes is a cool toned olive cream with crushed gold flakes. Shannon does olives so well, I end up loving them all! This beauty was opaque in 2 easy coats and had a perfect formula.

Tressed In Flowers is a warm rose pink cream with crushed gold flakes. I love this soft pink with gold. You really can’t go wrong with gold and any color but this one is so pretty! I used 3 coats for my swatches and it was perfect.

Alien Bloom is a pale ivory cream with crushed gold flakes. This ivory color is so sophisticated and gorgeous that I didn’t take it off. It was my New Year’s mani and I’m actually still wearing it while I write this! It’s so beautiful. For the swatches shown here, I used 3 thin coats and topped it with my favorite top coat (Cuticula).
Update: I actually wore this polish for 5 days and it held up so well!

Liminal Moon is a soft greyed violet cream with crushed gold flakes. This was another polish I couldn’t take off so I wore it for an entire day. I love this base color. It’s so pretty! I used 3 thin coats for this mani.

I also have the Midnight Duo to share with you. These 2 polishes didn’t quite make it into the Wizarding World Part 2 collection so we get more Harry Potter inspired polishes! Yay!

Thestral is a bright ocean blue mixed holographic polish. This blue is absolutely stunning! I adore it! Bright blues like this always catch my eye and the holo flakes are just stunning. I used 2 coats for this swatch.

Thestral was recreated from a previous Bespoke Batch of the same name so I did a side by side comparison of the 2 polishes.
In pictures, they look almost identical but in real life, the Bespoke Batch is a touch more vibrant. They are both absolutely gorgeous polishes and I’m happy to own both.

Luna is a deep midnight blue cream polish with a teal to purple shifting shimmer. This one is a shifty stunner! I adore this one so much and I will probably end up using this again sometime soon. This polish was opaque for me in 2 easy coats.

See? I was right, wasn’t I? You need them all, they’re all so beautiful! Will you be picking any of these up on the 13th? Let me know in the comments and thank you for reading!

Hello, again! I have 2 polishes from Polish Pickup to share with you today! September’s theme is Magic And Alchemy and the makers involved have created some beautiful things for us!  Let’s talk about Polish Pickup first and then we’ll get into the swatches. For first time readers, Polish Pickup is an interactive group on Facebook (I will include the link to the group at the end of this post) that allows you to submit theme ideas for each month and vote for your favorite theme. After the theme is picked, you may then select your favorite polishes to purchase from a multitude of different makers. It’s a fabulous concept and very popular! P*O*P Polish Pastel Oil Slick 360 collection

Hello, multichrome lovers! Are you ready to see something new, exciting and gorgeous?? Because I have 8 new multichromes from P*O*P Polish to share with you guys today! I was very excited when Bianca asked me to swatch her new polishes and even more excited to find out that we both live in the same city. So not only did I find a new to me indie brand, I found a new, local indie brand which is super exciting to me. These multichromes are new because they are pastel! We’re used to the darker toned multichromes where the normal shifts are blues, greens, purples, golds but these new pastel multichromes have a shift added. Nude and grey shifts can be seen in these in certain lighting. They were hard to capture but they’re there. These polishes were so intriguing to swatch. I was staring at my fingers constantly when I wore them. The Pastel Oil Slicks will be available to purchase on August 10th at 3pm EST here:  https://www.etsy.com/sho
