Pahlish Mukashi Mukashi (Once Upon A Time) Collection

Hello, lovelies! I have a new collection from Pahlish to share with you all today. The Mukashi Mukashi (Once Upon A Time) collection is inspired by Japanese folklore and fairytales. This new collection will be available on Sunday, June 17th at 7pm central. These 10 new polishes will be available as a set at the price of $110 or individually at the price of $12 each. Now that we have covered all the pertinent details, let's get started with the swatches.
First up, I have Nurikabe (Wall Creature). Nurikabe is a soft taupe cream with a bright red to green shifting shimmer and scattered holo pigments. I used 3 thin coats and Cuticula’s Effervescent Silk base coat and Timeless top coat for this swatch. The formula for all these polishes was wonderful, as is the norm for Pahlish. I've been loving nudes lately so this polish was a hit for me.

I have Kappa (River Child) next and this polish is a soft grey with pink to gold to green shifting shimmer and a mix of holo flakes and pigments. I used 2 coats and Sweet Peaches Static base and Timeless top coat from Cuticula for this swatch. The shift with the grey base is so fabulous!

Umibozu (Sea Monk) is next and it's a soft grey polish with violet to blue to pink to gold shifting multichrome and a mix of holo flakes and pigments. I used 2 coats and Sour Patch Candy Static base coat and Timeless top coat from Cuticula for this swatch. I love the shift in this polish!

Seto Taisho (Teacup Soldier) is a soft aqua cream with bright red to green shifting shimmer and scattered holo pigments. I used 3 coats and Rainbow Sherbert Static base coat and Berry Sunrise Timeless top coat from Cuticula for this swatch. This color is so delicate and lovely!

Tanuki (Raccoon Dog) is a soft grey polish with a golden bronze to copper to green to blue shifting multichrome and a mix of holo flakes and pigments. I used 2 coats and Frooty Pebbles Silk base coat and Timeless top coat from Cuticula for this swatch. I fell in love with the shimmer in this polish, it’s amazing! So gorgeous!

Kitsune (Many-Tailed Fox) is a spring olive polish with a bright pink to gold shifting shimmer and a mix of dense holo flakes and pigments. I used 2 coats and Effervescent Silk base coat and Timeless top coat from Cuticula for this swatch. I love the holo flakes with the olive. It’s so pretty!

Kasa-Obake (Living Umbrella) is a neon teal polish with a mix of holo flakes and teal to pink to purple shifting chameleon flakes. I used 2 coats and Pink Sugared Lemons Static base coat and Sour Patch Candy Timeless top coat from Cuticula for this mani. I love this color so much and the flakes in it are so wonderful!

Kintaro (Golden Boy) is a neon yellow polish with dense holo flakes and a violet to blue to pink to orange shifting shimmer. I used 3 coats and Kiss The Girl Silk base coat and Timeless top coat from Cuticula for this swatch. This color is perfect for summer, it’s so bright and fun. I love the holo flakes with the neon base.

Momotaro (Peach Boy) is a neon coral pink with dense holo flakes and a bright pink to green shifting shimmer. I used 3 coats and Sweet Peaches Silk base coat and Timeless top coat from Cuticula for this swatch. Again, this bright pink and the holo were a win for me. It’s so gorgeous.

Issun-Boshi (Inch High Samurai) is a lavender polish with a red to green shifting shimmer and a mix of dense holo flakes and pigments. I used 3 coats and Pink Sugared Lemons Static base coat and Sweet Peaches Timeless top coat from Cuticula for this swatch. I love the shimmer in this polish, it’s so stunning.

I have one last polish to share with you and it's the Polish Pickup fan favorite, Cozy Blankets. This polish is from September 2017 and since the Polish Pickup admins are on vacation for the  month of July, the makers are bringing back a previously released polish for that month. Ordering will work a bit differently than it usually does. Instead of purchasing through the Polish Pickup site, you will be directed to each shop’s site and can purchase there. Cozy Blankets will be available at www.pahlish.com starting July 1st at 7 pm central and will be stocked through the entire month of July. Cozy Blankets is a soft grey with a mix of holo flakes, pink to orange to green shifting flakes and dense violet to pink shimmer and is priced at $12. I used 3 coats and Kiss The Girl Silk base coat and Timeless top coat from Cuticula for this mani. I simply adore this silvery grey polish, it's just stunning.

Overall, this collection is full of gorgeous colors and I love the holo flakes and shimmers that Shannon adds to her creations. Will you be picking any of these up on the 17th? Let me know in the comments and thanks for reading!

Polish Pickup September 2019

Hello, again! I have 2 polishes from Polish Pickup to share with you today! September’s theme is Magic And Alchemy and the makers involved have created some beautiful things for us!  Let’s talk about Polish Pickup first and then we’ll get into the swatches. For first time readers, Polish Pickup is an interactive group on Facebook (I will include the link to the group at the end of this post) that allows you to submit theme ideas for each month and vote for your favorite theme. After the theme is picked, you may then select your favorite polishes to purchase from a multitude of different makers. It’s a fabulous concept and very popular! The  shop  opens the first Friday of every month and closes the following Monday. This month, the shop opens on 9/6 at 11 am EST and closes on 9/9 at 11:59pm EST. They offer flat rate shipping to the US ($3) and Canada ($5) and orders will usually start shipping about 3 weeks after the shop has closed. Ready for swatches? Coming right up!  By Dany Vian

P*O*P Polish Pastel Oil Slick 360 collection

Hello, multichrome lovers! Are you ready to see something new, exciting and gorgeous?? Because I have 8 new multichromes from P*O*P Polish to share with you guys today! I was very excited when Bianca asked me to swatch her new polishes and even more excited to find out that we both live in the same city. So not only did I find a new to me indie brand, I found a new, local indie brand which is super exciting to me. These multichromes are new because they are pastel! We’re used to the darker toned multichromes where the normal shifts are blues, greens, purples, golds but these new pastel multichromes have a shift added. Nude and grey shifts can be seen in these in certain lighting. They were hard to capture but they’re there. These polishes were so intriguing to swatch. I was staring at my fingers constantly when I wore them. The Pastel Oil Slicks will be available to purchase on August 10th at 3pm EST here:  https://www.etsy.com/sho
