Hello, lovelies! I have some new Tonic manis to share with you all today and the polishes I used are my new obsession and favorite finish- magnetic polishes! I have 8 Tonic magnetics to show you and they have some different finishes. There are 3 Unicorn Pee pigment magnetics, 3 holo magnetics and 2 multichrome magnetics. They’re all gorgeous and super fun! Alright, let’s jump into the swatches.
First, I will be sharing the Unicorn Pee pigment magnetics. For all 3 of these polishes, I used 2 coats of the magnetic polish over 1 coat of black. The black base really helped the Unicorn Pee pigment pop and I will be trying them over different colored bases in the future. The first Unicorn Pee magnetic is Xtravaganza. This polish has a stunning original red to gold to green shifting Unicorn Pee pigment base with a green to purple shifting multichrome magnetic pigment. I am so in love with the magnetics that Tonic has made!
Next, I have Flawless. This polish was named accordingly because just like the name states, it is flawless! This polish has an orange to gold to green shifting Unicorn Pee sister pigment base with a pink to peach to yellow shifting multichrome magnetic pigment. I cannot state enough how gorgeous these polishes are.
The last Unicorn Pee magnetic is Queen. Queen has a green to indigo shifting Unicorn Pee sister pigment base with a pink to gold to green multichrome magnetic pigment. It’s so gorgeous!
I have the holo magnetic polishes to share next. For the holo magnetics, I used 2 coats for each polish. Caliente has a grey holo base with a peach to yellow to mint shifting multichrome magnetic pigment. The mix of holo and magnetic pigment is just amazing and I loved wearing each one of these.
Next, I have Divine. This polish has a grey holo base with a pink to gold to green shifting multichrome magnetic pigment. Divine is just stunning!
Ru has a grey holo base with a green to purple shifting multichrome magnetic pigment. The multichrome in this polish makes it look like a greenish base and it’s so pretty!
I have the multichrome magnetics next. Diva Royale has a teal to blue to purple shifting multichrome base with pink to peach to yellow shifting multichrome magnetic pigment. These polishes look pretty before you apply the magnet but once you do, they really pop and are absolutely stunning! I used 2 coats for these polishes as well.
The last magnetic from Tonic that I have to share is Drag Race. This polish has a green to blue to purple shifting multichrome base with a pink to green to gold shifting multichrome magnetic pigment. They’re all so amazing! I’m really glad that magnetics have made their appearance in the indie world and I can’t wait to see more.
All of these Tonics are still available for purchase and can be found here: https://www.tonicpolish.com/
For all of these manis, I used base and top coats from my favorite maker, Cuticula. She has scented base and top coats as well as nail tape that are really amazing. Not only that, the wear time that I’ve gotten from using her products is mind blowing. I can get through a whole shift at the hospital (which includes washing my hands pretty much constantly and wearing gloves a lot) with barely any tip wear or chips. With other base and top coat combos, my polish would peel off in sheets within 3 hours of my shift. If you haven’t tried her products yet, I highly recommend that you do.
