Glam Polish You’ve Got A Friend In Me collection

Hello, all! I have some beautiful polishes to share with you guys today and I’m really excited for you to see them! I was very excited when Rachel from Glam Polish reached out to me and asked me to swatch some polishes but I was even more excited when I opened them and read the names! They’re all Disney/Pixar inspired! I’m quite the Disney lover and the polishes are gorgeous. I was also inspired to do some nail art. Let’s talk about release info. There are 10 polishes (they are all Limited Edition) in this collection and they will be available to order on June 8th at 2pm EST at http://www.glampolish.com.au/ They will be available as a set at the promotional price of $112.50 for the first 4 days and individually for $12.50 each. Let’s get into the swatches!
I received 5 polishes to swatch and the first one I chose to use was Go Get ‘Em, Googly Bear. This polish was inspired by the movie, Monsters, Inc and is a bright purple jelly polish with unicorn shimmer, multichrome flakes and ultra holo glitters. This polish was opaque in 3 easy coats and had a great, easy to work with formula. I used Cuticula silk base and Timeless top coat in Frooty Pebbles scent. The formula for all 5 of these polishes was very easy to work with and they all smoothed out well with one coat of top coat. Removal for all was easy as well with not much scrubbing required at all. I couldn’t resist doing some reverse stamping of  Mike Wazowski (AKA Googly Bear) on one nail. This polish is so pretty and the color reminded me of Celia (Mike’s girlfriend).

The second polish I used is another Monsters, Inc inspired polish called We Scare Because We Care. This polish is a bright blue (I’ve been calling it a Sulley blue) crelly with unicorn shimmer, multichrome flakes and ultra holo glitters. For this mani, I used 3 coats and Cuticula’s Rainbow Sherbert static base coat and Timeless top coat in Berry Sunrise. I added a reverse stamped Sulley to this mani as well.

Next, I have a polish inspired by Finding Dory called It’s Your Destiny, Destiny. This polish is a teal crelly with unicorn shimmer, multichrome flakes and ultra holo glitters. This polish was opaque in 3 coats and I used Cuticula’s silk base and Timeless top coat in Effervescent scent (Polish Pickup April exclusive). I added a reverse stamped Dory to this mani.

I have To Infinity and Beyond up next. This polish was inspired by the movie, Toy Story and is a lime green crelly with unicorn shimmer, multichrome flakes and ultra holo glitters. I used 3 coats and Cuticula’s Pink Sugared Lemons static base coat and Timeless top coat in Sweet Peaches. I had to add a reverse stamped Buzz Lightyear to this mani since this was his catchphrase.

Last, I have a polish inspired by one of my top 10 favorite Disney/Pixar movie, Inside Out. I could go on and on about why that movie is great but I’ll say this, if you haven’t watched it, please do! It’s sooo good! Take Her To The Moon For Me, Okay? was inspired by Bing Bong and is a candy pink crelly with unicorn shimmer, multichrome flakes and ultra holo glitters. I used 3 coats and Cuticula’s static base and Timeless top coat in Sour Patch Candy. I was going to add some hand painted art to this but it did not come out well when I attempted it.

I really, really love all 5 of these polishes! If you’d like to see the other 5 polishes, my good friend, Janine has them on her blog here: http://polishedtotheninesnails.blogspot.com/2018/06/glam-polish-youve-got-friend-in-me.html They’re just so perfect for each movie that they were inspired from. Let me know if you will be picking any of these up and thank you for reading!

P*O*P Polish Pastel Oil Slick 360 collection

Hello, multichrome lovers! Are you ready to see something new, exciting and gorgeous?? Because I have 8 new multichromes from P*O*P Polish to share with you guys today! I was very excited when Bianca asked me to swatch her new polishes and even more excited to find out that we both live in the same city. So not only did I find a new to me indie brand, I found a new, local indie brand which is super exciting to me. These multichromes are new because they are pastel! We’re used to the darker toned multichromes where the normal shifts are blues, greens, purples, golds but these new pastel multichromes have a shift added. Nude and grey shifts can be seen in these in certain lighting. They were hard to capture but they’re there. These polishes were so intriguing to swatch. I was staring at my fingers constantly when I wore them. The Pastel Oil Slicks will be available to purchase on August 10th at 3pm EST here:  https://www.etsy.com/sho
