By Dany Vianna June Polish Pickup

Hello, lovelies! I have a gorgeous polish from By Dany Vianna to share with you lovely readers! This polish was created for June’s Polish Pickup theme, Weather. Haven’t heard of Polish Pickup before? Well, you’ve come to the right place. Let’s talk about that for a minute and then we’ll get into swatches.

Polish Pickup is an interactive group on Facebook (I will include the link to the group at the end of this post) that allows you to submit theme ideas for each month and vote for your favorite theme. After the theme is picked, you may then select your favorite polishes to purchase from a multitude of different makers. It’s a fabulous concept and very popular!

The shop opens the first Friday of every month and closes the following Monday. This month, the shop opens on 5/3 at 11 am EST and closes 5/6 at 11:59pm EST. They offer flat rate shipping to the US ($3) and Canada ($5) and orders will usually start shipping about 3 weeks after the shop has closed. Ready for swatches? Let’s dive in, shall we?

Dew On Sunrise is a light blue polish with strong grey undertones and is filled with gold shimmer, micro pink flakies, aurora shimmer and holo flakies. This polish was inspired by morning dew and it is the prettiest color! It’s soft and so beautiful that once I put it on, I kept it on for 3 days and I adored it.

It was opaque for me in 2 easy coats and was smooth to the touch after one coat of my favorite quick drying top coat. This polish will be $12 and will have a cap of 100 bottles in the US store and  a cap of 4 bottles in the UK store.

I really love reviewing Dany’s polishes! They’re always so beautiful and the formula for every one is perfect and so easy to apply to the nail. Add this polish to your wishlist as soon as you can do you won’t regret missing this beauty. Thanks for reading!

Pahlish Arcana collection

Hello, fellow polish lovers! I have some new Pahlish to share today. Pahlish is my absolute favorite indie maker so everything she makes, I love and this new collection is no exception. The Arcana collection was inspired by Tarot cards and each one is just stunning. I have no prior knowledge of Tarot at all but I did a bit of research after receiving this collection to swatch and it’s very fascinating. These new Pahlishes will be available in her shop on Sunday, 1/14 at 7 pm central time. Shannon is also one of the guest makers in Hella Holo Customs this month and 4 custom polishes will be available for purchase. You do have to be a member of their Facebook group to buy them so go check it out if you don’t want to miss new pretties. Ok, let’s get to the good stuff- swatches!      First up, I have the King of Cups. This polish is a medium taupe with a mix of holo flakes and pigment and bright purple shifting shimmers.
