Pahlish Foils

Hello, lovelies! Since Pahlish just released new foils for the spring, that motivated me to use all the foils that I own from their past collections and there were quite a few! Let's get into the good stuff- the swatches!
First, I have The Life Aquatic collection, 6 foils all inspired by The Life Aquatic Studio sessions featuring Seu Jorge. This album contains a collection of David Bowie songs that were recorded in Portuguese for The Life Aquatic soundtrack.
Lady Stardust is a stunning amethyst purple foil polish that was opaque in 2 easy coats. I added some star stamping to this polish as well. I love purples (as I'm sure I've stated many times) but dark purples are my all time favorite. In fact, my wedding dress was a plum color!

Next, I have Team Zissou, a bright turquoise foil that was opaque in 2 easy coats. Blues are another favorite color of mine and this shade is stunning.

Space Oddity is next. This is an iced violet foil polish that was opaque in 2 easy coats. Cool purples like this are so pretty and I loved wearing this.

Rebel, Rebel is a lovely medium olive green foil that was opaque in 2 easy coats. Shannon always knocks it out of the park with purples, blues and greens.

Quicksand is a pretty light rose foil. I used 2 coats for this mani. This pink is so lovely and delicate, I just loved it.

Last from the Life Aquatic collection is Life on Mars, a orange-y copper foil that was opaque in 2 easy coats.  Copper and silver are 2 of my favorite metallic colors.

Mermaid Tears was available in February of 2017. This minty green foil polish is so pretty! I used 2 coats and a quick drying top coat for this mani.

Sharp and Tart is a bright cherry foil polish that was part of the Summer Escapes collection that was available in May 2017. I used 2 coats for this mani. This is one of my favorite red polishes and I've used it quite a few times already. I used it as a base for some Valentine's Day nail art and some double stamping. It's such a gorgeous color!

Time Vortex was also released in May 2017 but was part of the Doctor...Who? collection. This is a TARDIS blue foil that also has some holo flakes in there.  I used 2 coats for this mani and even though I am not a Doctor Who fan, I had a stamping plate with a TARDIS image on it so I had to add it to this polish.

Now I have 3 foils that were released in June 2017 and are so stunning! First, I have Phlox, a bright raspberry pink foil polish that was opaque in 2 easy coats. I adore this color!

The Peach Truck is a bright peach foil that was opaque in 3 easy coats. Peach colors always make me think of spring and are so pretty. I need to use more peach shades in the future.

Bluebird Café is a blue gray foil that was opaque in 3 easy coats. This color reminded me of storm clouds and is a very pretty color!

The Green Muse was Pahlish's contribution to the theme for July's Polish Pickup, Cocktails and Mocktails. This acid green foil was opaque in 2 easy coats and is so stunning! I love bright greens like this! It reminded me of the poisoned apple from Snow White so I did some reverse stamping and wore this mani for 4 days while I was in Disney World in August.

Next, I have a sample batch polish called Sky Blue. This was available earlier this year and is a beautiful shade of blue. I used 2 coats for this mani.

Last of all my Pahlish foils is Sweetness and Light. This was another Polish pickup contribution for the February theme, Sugar Rush. This is a lavender violet foil with a mix of silver, purple, rose, blue and gold foil pigmants. I used 3 coats for this mani and the color was amazing.

That's all my unused foils from Pahlish! A few of these polishes are still available in Shannon's shop but most are not around anymore. Head to www.pahlish.com to see all the lovely foils that they have to offer. Have a great day!

P*O*P Polish Pastel Oil Slick 360 collection

Hello, multichrome lovers! Are you ready to see something new, exciting and gorgeous?? Because I have 8 new multichromes from P*O*P Polish to share with you guys today! I was very excited when Bianca asked me to swatch her new polishes and even more excited to find out that we both live in the same city. So not only did I find a new to me indie brand, I found a new, local indie brand which is super exciting to me. These multichromes are new because they are pastel! We’re used to the darker toned multichromes where the normal shifts are blues, greens, purples, golds but these new pastel multichromes have a shift added. Nude and grey shifts can be seen in these in certain lighting. They were hard to capture but they’re there. These polishes were so intriguing to swatch. I was staring at my fingers constantly when I wore them. The Pastel Oil Slicks will be available to purchase on August 10th at 3pm EST here:  https://www.etsy.com/sho
