Hello!! I have swatches of By Dani Vianna’s contribution to May’s Polish Pickup to share with you today. It’s a beauty! Let’s chat about Polish Pickup first, shall we?
Polish Pickup is an interactive group on Facebook (I will include the link to the group at the end of this post) that allows you to submit theme ideas for each month and vote for your favorite theme. After the theme is picked, you may then select your favorite polishes to purchase from a multitude of different makers.
May’s theme is the 1980’s! A great decade!!
The shop opens the first Friday of every month and closes the following Monday. This month, the shop opens on 5/3 at 11 am EST and closes 5/6 at 11:59pm EST. They offer flat rate shipping to the US ($3) and Canada ($5) and orders will usually start shipping about 3 weeks after the shop has closed. It’s an amazing concept and is very popular! Swatch time!
Ranger was inspired by the animated show, Dungeons and Dragons with a specific focus on the ranger from the show, named Hank.
Ranger is a leaf green polish filled with ultrachrome chameleon flakes and metallic gold flakes, a bit of gold shimmer and holo flakes. I used 2 thin coats and a quick drying top coat for my swatches. The formula is perfection and applied wonderfully.
This polish will be $11.50 with a cap of 100 bottles.
You will not want to miss this green beauty so be ready to grab it on the 3rd. The gold flakes and shimmer are perfect!
