Gridlock Lacquer

Hello, all! I have some new Gridlock Lacquers to share with you today. Lisa made some new polishes for St.Patrick's Day, Easter and the summer! These are all available now on her site: www.gridlocklacquer.com  Let's get into the swatches, shall we?     First up, I have Buffalucky. A gorgeous dark green polish with green and gold shimmers. this polish was opaque in 3 coats and the formula was easy to work with. I used this for my St.Patrick's Day mani as well. It's the prettiest green!     Next, I have Easter at the Market, a topper that has large and small iridescent pastel glitters. I layered this over another one of Gridlock's new polishes, Letchworth (more on that one later). I used 2 coats to get the most glitters on the nail.     Sponge Candy is a gorgeous chocolate brown cream that was opaque in 2 easy coats. This polish is the exact color of sponge candy and makes me crave chocolate whenever I look at it! ...

Gridlock Lacquer

Hello, all! I have some new polishes from Gridlock Lacquer to share today. Gridlock is based in my hometown, Buffalo, NY and has made polishes based on quite a few cities. Buffalo, Cleveland and Pittsburgh. I have 2 new shades from the Buffalo collection and 3 new shades from the Cleveland collection. Let’s get started!       First, I have Born in Buffalo. This is a very pretty pale pink cream polish that was opaque in 3 coats. The formula was very easy to work with and control while applying on the nail. As a Buffalo native, I love this polish.      Next from the Buffalo collection, I have Meat Raffle. This is a bright red creme polish that was opaque in 3 easy coats. I used a quick drying top coat for this swatch and the formula was again, very easy to work with. I’m not sure if meat raffles are popular in other areas but having been to a couple myself, I can tell you that they’re very fun and great fundraisers! ...
