Gridlock Lacquer

Hello, all! I have some new Gridlock Lacquers to share with you today. Lisa made some new polishes for St.Patrick's Day, Easter and the summer! These are all available now on her site: www.gridlocklacquer.com  Let's get into the swatches, shall we?
First up, I have Buffalucky. A gorgeous dark green polish with green and gold shimmers. this polish was opaque in 3 coats and the formula was easy to work with. I used this for my St.Patrick's Day mani as well. It's the prettiest green!

Next, I have Easter at the Market, a topper that has large and small iridescent pastel glitters. I layered this over another one of Gridlock's new polishes, Letchworth (more on that one later). I used 2 coats to get the most glitters on the nail.

Sponge Candy is a gorgeous chocolate brown cream that was opaque in 2 easy coats. This polish is the exact color of sponge candy and makes me crave chocolate whenever I look at it!

Now, I have 3 polishes that Gridlock and a local bakery, Mazurek's. First from this trio is Famous Rye, a beige polish with silver shimmer. I used 2 coats and a quick drying top coat for this swatch.

Paczki Jelly is a red cream. I used 2 coats and a quick drying top coat for this swatch.

Cake Frosting is a lovely light pink cream with silver shimmer. I used 3 coats and a quick drying top coat for this swatch.

Next, I have Drought Breaker, a red shimmery polish that was opaque in 2 coats. This polish was created to celebrate the end of the longest playoff drought in NFL history. It was a pretty exciting time for Buffalo Bills fans that day!

I'll share my swatches of the Summer Day Trip polishes next. Letchworth is light neon green cream polish that was opaque in 3 coats. This color is so bright and springlike.

Sunset Bay is a reddish pink cream that was opaque in 3 coats. I love bright creams for the spring and summer.

Crystal Beach is my favorite! I've been loving orange colors lately. This is a bright orange polish with a stunning gold shimmer. I used 3 coats and a quick drying top coat for this swatch.

Niagara Falls is the last new Gridlock I have to share. This is a pretty blue cream that was opaque in 2 easy coats.

Thanks for reading and don't forget to check out Gridlock's site for some Buffalo, Cleveland and Pittsburgh inspired polishes! Have a great day!

Pahlish Arcana collection

Hello, fellow polish lovers! I have some new Pahlish to share today. Pahlish is my absolute favorite indie maker so everything she makes, I love and this new collection is no exception. The Arcana collection was inspired by Tarot cards and each one is just stunning. I have no prior knowledge of Tarot at all but I did a bit of research after receiving this collection to swatch and it’s very fascinating. These new Pahlishes will be available in her shop on Sunday, 1/14 at 7 pm central time. Shannon is also one of the guest makers in Hella Holo Customs this month and 4 custom polishes will be available for purchase. You do have to be a member of their Facebook group to buy them so go check it out if you don’t want to miss new pretties. Ok, let’s get to the good stuff- swatches!      First up, I have the King of Cups. This polish is a medium taupe with a mix of holo flakes and pigment and bright purple shifting shimmers.
