Hello, all! I have some new polishes from Gridlock Lacquer to share today. Gridlock is based in my hometown, Buffalo, NY and has made polishes based on quite a few cities. Buffalo, Cleveland and Pittsburgh. I have 2 new shades from the Buffalo collection and 3 new shades from the Cleveland collection. Let’s get started!
First, I have Born in Buffalo. This is a very pretty pale pink cream polish that was opaque in 3 coats. The formula was very easy to work with and control while applying on the nail. As a Buffalo native, I love this polish.

Next from the Buffalo collection, I have Meat Raffle. This is a bright red creme polish that was opaque in 3 easy coats. I used a quick drying top coat for this swatch and the formula was again, very easy to work with. I’m not sure if meat raffles are popular in other areas but having been to a couple myself, I can tell you that they’re very fun and great fundraisers!

Let’s take a look at the new Cleveland polishes, shall we? First, I have Polish Boy, a beige polish with a silver shimmer. For this swatch, I used 3 thin coats and a quick drying top coat. I also added a matte top coat to really show off that shimmer. The formula for this polish was also very easy to work with and control.

The second polish from the Cleveland collection is called Lake Effect. This is a blue gray creme polish. I used 2 coats and a quick drying top coat for this swatch. Lake effect snow is pretty common in the Great Lakes region. Buffalo gets a lot, too!

Lastly, I have I ❤️ CLE, a dark purple creme polish that is so beautiful. I used 2 thin coats and a quick drying top coat for this swatch. I really love dark shades like this very much!
