Hello, everyone! I have decided to give blogging a try again so here I am. To kick off my first blog post in years, I have swatches of the Matadora collection from Morgan Taylor and Gelish to share with you guys today. I received both the gel version and the polish version of this collection so I will be combining them into one post. These polishes and a quick drying top coat, as well as a gel base and top coat were all provided to me for review from Preen.Me through their VIP program.

First up, I have I’m Drawing A Blanco, white polish that has shimmer and sparkles throughout. I used 3 thin coats for this swatch. The formula was thin but very easy to work with so I had no issues to report about that.
Here is the gel version of the same polish. For this swatch, I had to use 4 thin coats to get it opaque. The gel polish was rather thin and I did not care it at all because I have an issue with thick looking polishes but the color is very pretty. I also did some stamping using plates and a stamper also from Morgan Taylor. The plates are full of fun, floral images and the clear stamper that I received is amazing! It picks up so very easily that it has become my go to stamper since I got it.
Now, I have Mauve Your Feet, a gorgeous dusty mauve cream that was opaque in 2 easy coats. The formula with this polish was perfect and very easy to work with.
Here is the gel version of Mauve My Feet. I used 2 thin coats and cured in between. Then I added some gold stamping using the plates from Morgan Taylor.
Don’t Break My Corazon is the prettiest shade of red! This polish is my favorite from this collection! It’s a warm, orange toned red that was opaque in 2 very easy coats and the formula was wonderful.
I have the gel version of Don’t Break My Corazon. This also was my favorite out of the gel collection. It’s just such a juicy shade. I added some black rose stamping over this, too.
All Tango-d Up is a gorgeous dark burgundy creme polish that is the perfect vampy shade for fall! This was also opaque in 2 easy coats and the formula was very easy to work with.
The gel version of All Tango-d Up is so gorgeous. I used 2 thin coats and cured it in between each one then added some gold leaf stamping over it. When I did that, my camera picked up some of the brown tones in the polish a bit more but it looks lovely!
Olé My Way has to be my second favorite! I am very partial to dark blue polishes that remind me of the night sky. This is a navy blue polishe with a gorgeous shimmer. So perfect for some starry sky stamping. I did 2 coats for this swatch and the formula was very easy to work with.
Ole My Way, the gel version is just as gorgeous as the polish version. The same dark, midnight sky look that I love. I used 2 thin coats for this then I added some white stamping that I knew would pop against the dark background.
Danced and Sang-ria is a deep eggplant creme polish that is such a deep shade of purple, it looks black. I really love shades like this for fall. Vampy shades are my favorite! I used 2 coats for this swatch and once again, the formula was very easy to work with.
Finally, here is my Gelish swatch of Danced and Sang-ria, a gorgeous deep eggplant polish. I used 2 thin coats and cured in between each coat. Then, I added some white floral stamping.
Overall, this collection (both the Morgan Taylor and the Gelish) are very pretty! There are a few polishes in each collection that I can definitely see myself reaching for over and over again. These polishes can be purchased at www.morgantaylor.com or www.gelish.com
Thanks for reading!
