Moo Moo Signatures

Hello, everyone! Today, I have some polishes from Moo Moo Signatures to share with you. I was asked to review 5 polishes and they are all quite gorgeous. Let’s get in to the swatches.      First up, I have Yeti-Moo. This is one of Moo Moo’s core polishes and it is such a fun topper. Yeti-Moo is a holo topper with white glitters in various shapes and sizes. I saw dots, squares, hexes, stars and daisies. There’s also iridescent color shifting glitters in this topper as well. This is a very pretty polish. For these swatches, I used one coat of the topper layered over a very dark purple polish so that all the light colors would pop then a quick drying top coat over it all.  I did have to fish for the star and daisy glitters but that’s common in most glitter toppers.       Next, I have another polish from their core collection, Starless Night With Peaceful Wish. This polish is a dark blue jelly filled with blue glitters and b...

Morgan Taylor Matadora collection

Hello, everyone! I have decided to give blogging a try again so here I am. To kick off my first blog post in years, I have swatches of the Matadora collection from Morgan Taylor and Gelish to share with you guys today. I received both the gel version and the polish version of this collection so I will be combining them into one post. These polishes and a quick drying top coat, as well as a gel base and top coat were all provided to me for review from Preen.Me through their VIP program.        First up, I have I’m Drawing A Blanco, white polish that has shimmer and sparkles throughout. I used 3 thin coats for this swatch. The formula was thin but very easy to work with so I had no issues to report about that.          Here is the gel version of the same polish. For this swatch, I had to use 4 thin coats to get it opaque. The gel polish was rather thin and I did not care it at all because I have an issue with thick lo...

Essie & Jamberry! A great combo!

Hello, lacquer lovers! It's my favorite time of year... Summer nail polish collections are released! I am absolutely obsessed with neon colors! Especially, purple. Big surprise, right? It being my favorite color and all! Lol  It's been a while since I posted but I got inspired by Essie's new collection so I figured it was time to write up a new post so I could share my love of it with you all! I hope you like it as much as I do!  Here's a pic of the whole collection. So far I've only purchased Sittin' Pretty and I'm Addicted (review to come) but I hope to get Too Taboo and Vices Versa as well. I usually don't like greens but that polish just looks so pretty that I might not be able to resist. When I first saw Serial Shopper I thought it might be a dupe of Tart Deco but after comparing them I saw I was wrong. Tart Deco is much brighter and seems to go on more opaque then Serial Shopper. I also thought that Sittin' Pretty was a dupe of Play Date but a...

Snow Day Mani!

Hello, again, lacquer lovelies! It's been quite a while since I posted because life has been crazy busy lately! Sorry about that. I figured since my family had a snow day today, it would be a perfect time for me to write up a new post. Especially since I pretty much spent most of the day painting my nails and making a few new pairs of polish earrings. Nothing like a snowstorm to use as an excuse to give myself a new mani, right? Right! So onto pretty polishes!     I've been dying to do a half moon mani since I attempted it last without the hole reinforcements so I finally did one tonight and I love it! It was pretty easy, too. Check it out! Cute, right?     I recently purchased Gelous from Sally Beauty Supply after reading quite a few pins on Pinterest about how great it was so I was pretty excited to try it and see if it will help my manicures last longer than 3 days.      I started with a base coat of OPI Nail Envy then a coat of Gelous....

New Mani!

Hello, Lacquer Lovers! How was your day? I enjoyed a snow day with my kids and celebrated my daughter's 4th birthday! I had a great day and I hope everyone else did, too!      I've been looking at quite a few pins on Pinterest lately to get new ideas to try for my blog and also to post in the new group I joined The Lacquer Legion. The theme for posts this month was reinvention so I wanted to find something I haven't tried to do before. I loved the idea of doing something different on each nail. My original plan was to attempt to do a chevron pattern but my first attempt at this was not successful at all. I'll just have to keep practicing, I guess. More details after the jump!     I used three of my favorite Essie colors: No More Film- a beautiful creamy blurple that I love,Warm & Toasty Turtleneck- another cream lilac that's gorgeous, and Naughty Nautical- a sparkly green-blue that is so pretty! On my ring finger I used Nicole by OPI- Lips Are ...

Polish earrings

Hello, lacquer lovers! I was browsing on Pinterest a couple weeks ago and found a pin on making earrings with nail polish that peaked my interest. I read the pin from Sarah from Chalkboard Nails and it seemed like a great thing to try. So I went over to CandyTiles Studio on Etsy and ordered all the supplies I would need.      After waiting patiently for about a week I got my supplies yesterday and was up until after midnight making earrings! They turned out great! I can't wait to make some more and I'm really excited to share them with everyone and see what you think!      So, here's all the colors I used to make all 10 pairs of earrings.  1. Sinful Colors- Silver Rainbows     Sinful Colors- Nirvana 2. Sally Hansen- Mermaid's Tale     Essie- Aruba Blue 3. China Glaze- Fairy Dust     Revlon- Celestial FX 4. Sinful Colors- Top Me Off     Essie- Aruba Blue 5. Sinful Colors- Faceted     Sinful ...
