Hello, again! I have a new trio and topper from Cupcake Polish to share with you today. All 4 polishes are gorgeous! This trio even inspired me to do some art.
These polishes will be available on 2/11 at 8pm CST.
The Free Spirit trio will be sold individually for the price of $13 each. This trio is Limited Edition and single batch and will not be restocked once sold out. You will not want to miss out on these you guys! The shimmers in these polishes are absolutely stunning.
Wanderer is a purple nail polish that is packed with a heavy gold to green shifting shimmer and holographic microglitters. I really love the shimmer in this. The gold to green looks great against the purple base.
The formula for the trio was so easy to work with and very opaque. If you tend to do a heavier first coat, you could probably get away with only one coat but I used 2 coats and a quick drying top coat for my swatches. The glitters in these polishes don’t require much scrubbing to remove but the glitters do tend to stick to your skin. Of course, that’s common with any glitter polish.
I couldn’t resist doing some stamping over the trio. I was inspired by the names for each of these and decided to go fo a hippie/70’s vibe for each polish in the trio.
Wild and Free is a berry pink nail polish that has a heavy blue shimmer and holographic microglitters. The pink base and blue shimmer made this polish lean more purple in real life and the combo is a great one! My swatches show 2 coats and a quick drying top coat.
Day Dream is an aqua nail polish with a heavy pink to blue to gold shifting shimmer and holographic microglitters. Blue polishes are always a win in my book and the shimmer is just wonderful. I used 2 coats and a quick drying top coat for these swatches.
Secret Ingredient is a new addition to Cupcake’s special effect topper line and will be $10. This polish is not Limited Edition and will be around for the foreseeable future. Secret Ingredient is a special effect topper that combines red to bronze to gold to green shifting Unicorn Pee (better known as UP) sister aurora pigment and a holographic effect that transforms any base color you use it over.
For my swatches, I used it over 3 different creams. I used 1 coat over black, white and a darker purple. It’s so beautiful!!
Simply gorgeous, right?? Cupcake never fails to amaze me with their beautiful creations! Thank you so much for reading!
