Kathleen and Co. Holiday Trio 2018

Hello, hello! Who’s ready for some holiday polishes? I know I definitely am!
I have the gorgeous holiday trio from Kathleen and Co. to share with you today.
This trio is available now so what are you waiting for? Go get them! Or rather, look at my swatches and then go get them! Ok? Ok! Let’s see them!

O, Tannebaum is an evergreen shimmer polish with aurora shimmer, holo glitters, holo microglitters and ultrachrome chameleon flakes. This polish is like a Christmas tree in a bottle! It’s fantastic!
I used 3 thin coats and a quick drying top coat for my swatches. The formula was amazing and so easy to work with. Despite all the glitters and flakes in this polish, removal was very easy.
This polish is priced at $12.

Very Merry Cherry has a bright red jelly base and has a beautiful aurora shimmer! It’s so bright and cheerful. Perfect for the holiday season.
This polish was opaque for me in 3 easy coats and I topped it with a quick drying top coat. Since I’m obsessed with mattifying all shimmer polishes, I also added my favorite matte top coat to this bright beauty.
This polish is priced at $10.

Holiday Lights is a multichrome magnetic polish with added holo. This polish can be layered over a base color of your choosing or simply (and amazingly) worn on its own.
I am in love with all the magnetic polishes and this one is no exception. I chose to wear it on its own and I use my arc magnet for my swatches. I used 2 coats and a quick drying top coat for these swatches. For all the magnetic polishes I use, I start with a thin first coat and a thicker second coat and immediately after applying the second coat, I hold the magnet over my nail for about 30-40 seconds. After adding a top coat, I hold the magnet over my nail again. The finished look is always stunning!

This polish is priced at $12.

I LOVE this holiday collection so much! I’m excited to do some Christmas manis this season. Will you be picking any of these up? Let me know in the comments and thank you for reading!

Polish Pickup September 2019

Hello, again! I have 2 polishes from Polish Pickup to share with you today! September’s theme is Magic And Alchemy and the makers involved have created some beautiful things for us!  Let’s talk about Polish Pickup first and then we’ll get into the swatches. For first time readers, Polish Pickup is an interactive group on Facebook (I will include the link to the group at the end of this post) that allows you to submit theme ideas for each month and vote for your favorite theme. After the theme is picked, you may then select your favorite polishes to purchase from a multitude of different makers. It’s a fabulous concept and very popular! The  shop  opens the first Friday of every month and closes the following Monday. This month, the shop opens on 9/6 at 11 am EST and closes on 9/9 at 11:59pm EST. They offer flat rate shipping to the US ($3) and Canada ($5) and orders will usually start shipping about 3 weeks after the shop has closed. Ready for swatches? C...

Pahlish Arcana collection

Hello, fellow polish lovers! I have some new Pahlish to share today. Pahlish is my absolute favorite indie maker so everything she makes, I love and this new collection is no exception. The Arcana collection was inspired by Tarot cards and each one is just stunning. I have no prior knowledge of Tarot at all but I did a bit of research after receiving this collection to swatch and it’s very fascinating. These new Pahlishes will be available in her shop on Sunday, 1/14 at 7 pm central time. Shannon is also one of the guest makers in Hella Holo Customs this month and 4 custom polishes will be available for purchase. You do have to be a member of their Facebook group to buy them so go check it out if you don’t want to miss new pretties. Ok, let’s get to the good stuff- swatches!      First up, I have the King of Cups. This polish is a medium taupe with a mix of holo flakes and pigment and bright purple shifting shimmers.
