Glam Polish Dark Arts Collection

Hello, lovelies! I have more new pretties to share with you today! Glam Polish has come out with a Dark Arts themed collection and I couldn’t be more thrilled. I am loving all the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts collections that have been coming out lately. There are 10 polishes in this Dark Arts collection and I have 5 to showcase today.

Let’s go over the release details and sales before we get into swatches. The 6th Anniversary celebration begins on 11/22 at 12pm EST. There will be a few sales and promos going on throughout the site
Black Friday sale: Save 10 to 50% off selected shades on website, no code required.
Black Friday promo: The first 120 customers to spend $60 (shipping not included) will receive a free, full sized, mystery Limited Edition polish.
Dark Arts collection promo: Save 10% off when purchasing the full collection for the first 96 hours.
There will also be a 6th Anniversary duo available and when you purchase the set, you will receive 12% off for the first 96 hours.
Alright, now that we’ve covered that, let’s settle in for swatches, shall we?

Grindelwald is a gray crelly with iridescent flakes and ultra holo glitters. This polish was opaque in 3 easy coats for me and the formula on this and all the other polishes I received to review, were so easy to work with. The iridescent flakes do not hinder removal, either. I love The iridescence of these flakes! They’re absolutely gorgeous!

The Elder Wand is a copper to green to gold shifting multichrome with iridescent flakes and fine holo microglitters. I used 3 coats and a quick drying top coat for my swatch. I love this color so much!

High Inquisitor is a bright magenta jelly polish with iridescent flakies and fine holo microglitters. Funny side note, when I was unwrapping this polish, I read the name and said, this has to be pink! 🤣 I love this bright polish and it applied like a dream. It stayed right where I put it and removed easily as well. I used 3 thin coats and a quick drying top coat for this swatch.

Crucio! is a dark plum jelly with iridescent flakes and fine holo microglitters. This color is so pretty and it applied so easily. Removal was very easy as well. I used 3 thin coats and a quick drying top coat for this swatch.

Imperio! is the last of the 5 polishes I was sent to review and it’s my favorite! This polish is a deep purple jelly with a green to purple shifting shimmer, iridescent flakes and fine holo microglitters. The shift in this polish is amazing! The formula was wonderful and removal was easy albeit sad. I used 3 coats and a quick drying top coat for this mani.

That wraps up my half of this gorgeous collection! If you want to see more swatches, be sure to keep an eye on Glam’s Instagram and Facebook fab group (links to both at the end of the post). Will you be picking any of these beauties up on the 22nd? Let me know in the comments and thanks for reading!

Hello, again! I have 2 polishes from Polish Pickup to share with you today! September’s theme is Magic And Alchemy and the makers involved have created some beautiful things for us!  Let’s talk about Polish Pickup first and then we’ll get into the swatches. For first time readers, Polish Pickup is an interactive group on Facebook (I will include the link to the group at the end of this post) that allows you to submit theme ideas for each month and vote for your favorite theme. After the theme is picked, you may then select your favorite polishes to purchase from a multitude of different makers. It’s a fabulous concept and very popular! P*O*P Polish Pastel Oil Slick 360 collection

Hello, multichrome lovers! Are you ready to see something new, exciting and gorgeous?? Because I have 8 new multichromes from P*O*P Polish to share with you guys today! I was very excited when Bianca asked me to swatch her new polishes and even more excited to find out that we both live in the same city. So not only did I find a new to me indie brand, I found a new, local indie brand which is super exciting to me. These multichromes are new because they are pastel! We’re used to the darker toned multichromes where the normal shifts are blues, greens, purples, golds but these new pastel multichromes have a shift added. Nude and grey shifts can be seen in these in certain lighting. They were hard to capture but they’re there. These polishes were so intriguing to swatch. I was staring at my fingers constantly when I wore them. The Pastel Oil Slicks will be available to purchase on August 10th at 3pm EST here:  https://www.etsy.com/sho
