Hello, lovelies! I have a fabulous new collection from Heather’s Hues to share with you today. The Faded Jewels collection consists of 5 faded jewel tone crellies, sprinkled with a bit of aurora shimmer and 2 toppers, each packed with iridescent flakies and glitters. These new pretties will be available on 9/28 at 1pm EST here and are priced at $11 each or $70 for the full set. When I received these polishes, my oldest daughter happened to see them and tried to steal them from me! I told her she could have them as soon as I was done swatching them and sure enough, that stinker spirited these all into her room the minute I was done! I only hope she’ll let me borrow them! Alright, now that you have all the details, let’s see these beauties, shall we?

Softened Sky is a wonderful faded turquoise crelly with a blue to teal to violet aurora shimmer. Blue is one of my favorite colors especially pale, muted blues. I used 3 thin coats and a quick drying top coat for this swatch.

The toppers are next and they are beautiful. I’ll be showing you Iridescence first and this polish is packed with iridescent glitter in varying sizes and then has a touch of holo flake as well. I used the topper over each of the crellies above so this part of my post is picture heavy but so lovely to see! Each base color brought out a different color in the iridescent glitters and looked amazing. I used one thin coat of the topper over each base and then used a quick drying top coat.

Opalescence is the second topper in the Faded Jewels collection and is gorgeous. Opalescence is a linear holo topper with iridescent flakes in blue to purple to green to teal to gold with a touch of holo flake. Again, I layered one thin coat of the topper over the crellies above and loved the effect. It’s so pretty.

Overall, this collection is just gorgeous and so versatile! I really enjoyed using every one. Will you be picking any of these up on Friday, the 28th? Let me know in the comments. Thank you for reading!
Heather used this picture as the inspiration for this collection and you can see that she did so perfectly! She really did a great job of turning this picture into polish.
Lemon Chiffon Chill is the first one I swatched and I have to say that this shade of yellow is so gorgeous! This is a pale lemon yellow crelly with a red to green to gold aurora shimmer throughout as well as some gold microflakes. The formula for this polish and all of these polishes, is delightful and so easy to work with. The polish stays exactly where you put it on the nail with no pooling of pulling noted. I used 3 coats for all of the polishes shown here and a quick dry top coat to seal it all in.
Honeydew Hash is a muted honeydew green crelly with a green to pink aurora shimmer. Yellows and greens are definitely something I do not have enough of in my collection so I was happy to add these 2 colors to my collection. They’re much more sophisticated than the neon yellows and greens that I seem to gravitate towards. This polish was opaque for me in 3 thin coats.
Softened Sky is a wonderful faded turquoise crelly with a blue to teal to violet aurora shimmer. Blue is one of my favorite colors especially pale, muted blues. I used 3 thin coats and a quick drying top coat for this swatch.
Paled Periwinkle is a stunning pale periwinkle crelly with a violet to blue to indigo aurora shimmer. This shimmer is so pretty, I was mesmerized while I was twirling the bottle under my lights. This was opaque for me in 3 thin coats.
Muted Mauve is my favorite! No surprise there since all shades of purple have found their way into my Helmers over the years. This polish is a grayed out red violet mauve with a fuschia to copper to gold aurora shimmer. I achieved opacity in 3 coats and added a quick drying top coat for this swatch.
