For The Love of Polish box March and April 2018

Hello, all! I have 2 For The Love of Polish boxes to share with you today. I really love this box and I’m so glad that I subscribe to it. My May box is on its way to me now and I’m excited to get it. Let’s get into the swatches for the March and April box now.
First, let’s look at the March 2018 box and the theme was  Lakes. This box featured polishes from Polished for Days, Pahlish (these 2 are permanent makers for this box) and the guest maker, Great Lakes Lacquer. The Polished For Days is called Float Your Boat and it’s gorgeous! This polish is a cobalt blue with pink to green shifting flakes, green to gold to pink iridescent flakes and holo flakes. I used 2 coats plus my favorite top and base coat from Cuticula. I love PFD so much! She makes the most unique color and shimmer/flakie combos.

Pahlish made a beauty named Salt Lagoon and it’s so pretty! This polish is a rosy mauve holo with pink to violet chameleon flakes and shimmers. I used 3 thin coats and Timeless top coat from Cuticula for this mani.

Great Lakes Lacquer made a polish called That Ducking Lake. Best name ever! That Ducking Lake is a mossy green holo with a pink to gold to green shifting shimmer. The pink shimmer really stands out in this polish. I used 3 thin coats and Timeless top coat from Cuticula for this mani.

The theme for April’s box was Dragons! I loved this theme! The polishes are stunning. The guest maker for this box was Tonic Polish so I was thrilled to be able to buy a box with all 3 of my favorite makers in it. First, I have Polished For Days Dragon Breath and I have one word for this polish- WOW! The red shimmer is insane! Ok, the deets. Dragon Breath has a maroon purple base with a strong red to copper to green shifting multichrome shimmer and holo flakes. I used 2 easy coats and Timeless top coat in Berry Sunrise scent from Cuticula for this mani.

Pahlish was inspired by the dragon from the Disney animated movie, The Sword in the Stone, Madam Mim. I love all things Disney so I was thrilled to know the inspiration behind this polish. Madam Mim is a sheer lavender with holo flakes and a pink to gold shimmer as well as a mix of chameleon flakes. I used 3 coats and Timeless top coat in Berry Sunrise from Cuticula for this mani.

Tonic Polish made a beauty called Draccus. This polish is a dark teal holo with purple to copper multichrome shimmer. The shimmer was very hard to capture on the nail but you can see it in the bottle. I used 2 coats and Timeless top coat in Sour Patch Candy from Cuticula for this mani.

I was thrilled with both boxes and am very much looking forward to receiving this month’s! Thanks for reading and happy painting!

P*O*P Polish Pastel Oil Slick 360 collection

Hello, multichrome lovers! Are you ready to see something new, exciting and gorgeous?? Because I have 8 new multichromes from P*O*P Polish to share with you guys today! I was very excited when Bianca asked me to swatch her new polishes and even more excited to find out that we both live in the same city. So not only did I find a new to me indie brand, I found a new, local indie brand which is super exciting to me. These multichromes are new because they are pastel! We’re used to the darker toned multichromes where the normal shifts are blues, greens, purples, golds but these new pastel multichromes have a shift added. Nude and grey shifts can be seen in these in certain lighting. They were hard to capture but they’re there. These polishes were so intriguing to swatch. I was staring at my fingers constantly when I wore them. The Pastel Oil Slicks will be available to purchase on August 10th at 3pm EST here:  https://www.etsy.com/sho
